Book Spotlight – Peanut Butter on the Wall by Peg Hanna

December 20, 2018

In December 2017, Peg Hanna published Peanut Butter on the Wall and Marshmallows on the Microwave, a collection of stories about two only children who raised—and matured with—their ever-changing family of five boys and one girl, starting nearly fifty years ago.

Peg takes readers through the rooms of her family’s two homes, recounting some of the events that occurred in them—flying peanut butter, flying babies, a flying angel. Some of these stories are funny. Some are sad. Some are hair-raising. All are true.

Many readers can relate to, “I didn’t do it,” “STOP IT!” and “It’s MY turn.” Each chapter is followed by a reflection such as, “Does Anyone Have a Life Without Photos on the Fridge?” “I Can’t See the Rug,” and “Reading With Grandma.”

Look for it from these retailers, or ask/search for it from your favorite bookshop!
